Come help the 51st Annual Stanford Powwow celebrate Indigeneity at Stanford!
Mothers' Day Weekend May 6-8th
The Stanford Powwow is the largest student-run powwow in the nation. During, the Stanford Native community comes together for an incredible celebration of Indigenous cultures, vitality, and intergenerational resilience with dance, arts and crafts, food, songs, and so much more.
Every year, we rely on hundreds of volunteers to set up, run, and close down powwow, so, come be a part of this amazing event 51 years in the making! Tasks include:
Pre-powwow set up the week before (flyering, shirt folding, preparing the grounds)
Constructing, taking down tents, and other facilities related activities
Keeping the grounds clean and accessible
